Like many elves, I'm cursed with perfectionist tendencies. When you have centuries to perfect your craft, "good enough" doesn't exist in our vocabulary. I'd spend decades on single pieces, refining every pixel until they were technically flawless but emotionally sterile.
My hard drive contained 1,847 "finished" works that no one had ever seen. Each time I considered sharing my art, that familiar elven voice whispered: "It's not ready yet. Give it another century."
